Hi! My name is M.J. I’m the founder of Studio 138, and I help stressed out, over-scheduled, people pleasers take back their time, energy and peace. I draw on coaching, Intuitive Eating, yoga, meditation and mindfulness to help you cultivate the freedom you deserve.

Where Should I Start?
Coaching
Coaching is for you if your perfectionism manifests as struggling with boundaries, people-pleasing behaviors, burnout, imposter syndrome, and a harsh inner critic. No matter how much you do or how well you do it, you never feel like it’s enough, and your work is never done because you get stuck in endless revisions.
You have a hard time relinquishing control and letting other people help, because you think I’m the only one who will do it “right.”
Intuitive Eating
Intuitive Eating counseling is for you if your perfectionism manifests in your relationship with food and your body. You struggle with cycles of restriction and binge eating. You have an all-or-nothing attitude when it comes to food, and use it as a means of control when everything else in your life feels out of control.
You also engage in black-and-white thinking about food (things are clean or unclean, healthy or garbage, etc.). You may compare your meals to what others are eating or not eating.
Mindfulness/Meditation
Mindfulness and meditation are for you if your perfectionism manifests through anxiety, obsessive thinking, and compulsions. You get stuck in thought loops, going over and over things you’ve said and done, wondering how others perceived you, or thinking about what have could have done better.
Yoga
Yoga is for you if your perfectionism shows up in your relationship to moving your body. You are all-or-nothing in your approach to exercise. You might be totally sedentary, pushing yourself to your limits, or vacillating between the two. You primarily exercise with the goal of losing weight, getting “ripped,” or out of fear of getting fat. Sometimes you feel like there’s a disconnect between your mind and body, and you wish you could figure out how to bridge the gap.
